WAVES SERIES
The Wave Series began with a water motif emerging as a reference to healing and connecting. The red bars developed during the pandemic alluding to the barriers felt all around real and imagined. The ink markings are made in a rhythm as in a waltz or a morse code. The repetitions move across the composition dancing through light. They weave through the tumult of the sea communicating that nothing is still, the barriers are an illusion and we are all interconnected.
